What is a Wire Mesh?
A wire mesh, which is a grid-like product made of cold-rolled or drawn high0strength wires arranged in right angles and electric resistance welded at the intersections, is used to control concrete cacks or reinfoce soft ground. It is usually used ofr concrete pavement, parking lots, etc.
Wem Daein Co., Ltd., manage the manufacturing prcess and quality of wire meshes to meet the requirements of KS D 7017, Korean industrial standards.
Wire meshes are divided into regular wire meshes and design wire meshes according to their size and smooth wirte meshes and deformed wire meshes according to wires used.
Smooth wire meshes are bonded to concrete at each wire intersection point by reliable mechanical anchorage, and deformed wire meshes display remarkable structural performace as their deforming performace as well as welded intersction points play ad important role in bonding and settlement of concrete
Regular Wire Mesh
Wire meshes whose meshes are square-shaped and each of whose vertical lines or horizontal lines has the same wire diameter or nominal wire diameter. Wire meshes whose sizes are 1m wide x 2m long and 2m wide x 4m long
Design Wire Mesh
Wire meshes with square or rectangular meshes or with rectangular meshes of diffrent sizes, or with vertical and horizontal wires of diffrent diameter or nominal diameter.
